Visit LinguaLinx at World of Concrete 2018, Booth #C3439!

Next week, LinguaLinx will be entering the World of Concrete. No, we are not visiting the Grand Coulee Dam (one of the world’s largest concrete structures). Instead, we are attending World of Concrete, the largest annual international event dedicated to concrete and masonry professionals.

If you’re going to be in Las Vegas from January 23 – 26, 2018, stop by and visit LinguaLinx at World of Concrete, Booth #C3439. Andrew Bartlett, Colin Melanson, and Kayleigh Gratton will be representing our team.

What might concrete and masonry have in common with language translation services? Quite a lot, if you think about it!

“It will be great to reconnect with our friends at JLG Industries,” says Kayleigh. “It was great meeting their team at their headquarters in McConnellsburg, PA last summer. Attending conferences allows us to meet with our current clients and also forge new, valuable connections.”

LinguaLinx partners with clients in the concrete and masonry industries to provide support translating their technical documentation, marketing collateral, safety and product training, websites, and any additional content our clients may need.

“Accuracy in technical translation is critical,” says Colin. “We want to help companies in these industries overcome key global communication challenges by providing accurate, quality translations for important technical content.”

We understand the importance of quality translation localization in all contexts. With technical communication, we strive to use in-country native linguists who not only speak the language and understand the culture, but also the industry or subject matter of the content. After all, you do not want someone with an education background translating a manual that teaches someone how to operate a boom lift!

“The goal of companies exhibiting and attending this conference is to increase their global market share, learn about key trends in their industry, and network as well,” says Andrew. “Their goals are our goals. I’m exciting to meet new connections and discuss how we can help meet their global communication goals and objectives.”

Indeed, we are excited to attend and exhibit. We will be able to broaden our core knowledge of this industry and network with over 1,500 exhibiting companies and over 55,000 professionals. We hope you’ll all come and visit LinguaLinx at World of Concrete, Booth #C3439.
